Il progetto firmato da L22 Retail per l’Outlet Center Brennero - che si concluderà entro il 2028 - crea spazi di vita, sosta e intrattenimento, aperture e trasparenze, trasformando radicalmente il suo impatto sociale sulla comunità locale e il suo impatto visivo sui viaggiatori che gli passano accanto.

Per comprendere il valore dell’intervento, infatti, è particolarmente importante la posizione del centro, che si trova su una strada statale proprio al confine tra Italia e Austria.

Il concept mira a realizzare una nuova foodcourt e una nuova piazza portando la luce naturale al livello sotterraneo e incoraggiando i flussi pedonali e gli incontri.

A creare un nuovo spazio riconoscibile e attrattivo e una nuova ancora per l’outlet aumentandone il valore urbanistico e commerciale.

Vengono dati aria e luce all’interrato, dove ora si trova un supermercato senza aperture verso l’esterno, trasformando la piazza esistente, ora occupata da parcheggi, in un luogo di sosta dalla visuale aperta sulle montagne arricchito da arredi fissi e da un’area gioco per bambini.

L22 Retail’s design for the Outlet Center Brennero - which will be completed by 2028 - creates social, rest and entertainment spaces, with openings and transparencies, bringing about a radical transformation of the centre’s social impact on the local community and its visual impact on travellers passing alongside.

In fact, to fully understand the project’s value, it is particularly important to consider the centre’s location, which is on a state road at the Italy-Austria border.

The concept is geared towards the creation of a new food court and a new square, bringing natural light to the underground level and encouraging pedestrian flows and social gatherings.

The creation of a new space that is distinctive and attractive and a new anchor for the outlet, thereby enhancing the centre’s shared urban value and its commercial value.

Air and light are brought to the underground level, where there is now a supermarket with no openings leading directly outside. The existing square, currently occupied by parking spaces, is transformed into a rest and leisure area offering open views of the mountains and featuring fixed furniture and a play area for children.
